As we enter the final months of 2020, let’s say goodbye to a strange and challenging year and look ahead at the exciting projects and priorities we have under development at Without Code. We’ve been listening closely to your product requests and feedback, and as always, I’m excited to share our roadmap with you below.
2020 was a year of intense development for our team, focusing on several major initiatives, such as email hosting, a complete dashboard overhaul, and an upcoming improvement to our billing and subscription management system.
Unlike widgets, which can often be developed in a week or two, these major initiatives require heads-down focus for months at a time. While not always flashy from the outside, these internal projects are crucial for the smooth growth of our company and need to be tackled strategically as we add more users to the platform. For our small team, we have to choose our priorities carefully and I’m excited to say that we’ve nearly completed many of these “core” items and are ready to shift more focus back into building cool visual/functionality improvements into the builder and platform.
Now that we have a healthy volume of users taking advantage of our email hosting, we are receiving a ton of positive feedback about the functionality and reliability of the service. Many of our customers have migrated from G-Suite or Microsoft that cost $5+ per month for each user. These customers are reporting back to inform us that in addition to significant cost savings, management of emails and inboxes is easier than ever, and email is delivered fast, reliably, and with reduced spam/junk in their inbox.
We are exploring the idea of offering site hosting and a couple of inboxes packaged together in a single price. We would love your feedback on this idea – please feel free to send us a note to sales@wocode.com or submit a comment below!
As mentioned above our development team has been digging into a variety of powerful new widgets, including:
The last of our major internal initiatives for 2020 is to streamline and improve our billing system and subscription management tools.
If you have lots of websites built on Without Code you’ve no doubt experienced some challenges when trying to manage renewals and updating credit cards. Our team has been working on a ground-up rebuild of the system, and we expect to release version one in November 2020 with the following improvements:
See something missing? Be sure to let us know in the comments below.
Based on your feedback to our proposed price changes, we reduced the percentage increase significantly from what was originally proposed and we will take a more gradual approach to any future increases.
Having not increased our prices for nearly three years left us far behind the market and rising internal costs required a larger increase than anticipated. Going forward we will be sure to announce any price changes with several months of notice and we will aim to make very small incremental changes as needed.

As always, thank you for supporting Without Code – we hope you are excited about all the projects and priorities listed above.
