AddThis Has Terminated Its Services – Here’s What You Need to Know

UPDATE: AddThis.com has terminated its services. See alternatives in the last paragraph below.

In a recent announcement, AddThis.com has announced that they will be terminating all of their services on May 31, 2023. As many of you know, Without Code offers a widget that integrates AddThis services onto Without Code websites, titled AddThis Social Tools. And over the years, many Without Code users have installed the AddThis Social Tools widget on their sites.

Please be advised that the AddThis Social Tools widget will stop functioning when AddThis terminates its services later this month. We suggest removing the AddThis widget from your sites, as this will keep your sites clear of unnecessary HTML code. To do this: locate the widget on your site, and simply delete it.

If you choose to do nothing, no worries – your site will continue to function. The floating AddThis buttons will simply disappear.

For alternatives to AddThis, consider ShareThis and AddToAny. Both have embed code that can be used on your site today, and offer similar services. And if you’d like to see a Without Code widget for easy integration of either of these services, please let us know in the comments below!
